Depression and anxiety can impact us at any age, any stage of life. To be healthy, we must take care of not only our physical health, but also our emotional health. If one is neglected the other will suffer. Change occurs when we take that first step into treatment.

I believe that good therapy is a collaborative process that leads to change through challenging negative thinking habits, developing new perspectives, insights, and behaviors.

I received my Bachelors and Masters degree from the University of Central Florida. I am a licensed clinical social worker with an extensive background in individual and group counseling; helping adults navigate the complications life brings and the emotions triggered as we transition into different phases of life. I practice therapy modalities such as solutions focused and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques; however I am most passionate about EMDR. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a highly efficient and effective approach in helping clients recover from past or recent traumatic experiences, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and a range of other issues. I am a certified EMDR therapist and have been using this modality since 2016.
